rabbits dont need bedding. but if your rabbit is not litter trained (i doubt an 8 week old rabbit will be litter trained) then care fresh or fleece blankets will be nice. if youre a little tight on money then you can kaytee aspen bedding. do NOT get pine or cedar wood shavings!

or you can use his hay as bedding, if you get a big bale of it then you wont be wasting much.

you can introduce veggies SLOWLY (one at a time) when he is 12 weeks ago. i suggest veggies like cilantro or parsley (technically they are herbs but whatever lol)

also, each dwarf rabbit is different. most do not weigh past 4 lbs though. but i dont know which breed you have.
alfalfa hay should be fed to rabbits under 6 months of age; same with pellets alfalfa based for under 6 months of age. oxbow is a good brand. also most store bought hutches are WAY too small. you should spot clean his cage daily and actually clean it out fully weekly. i cant remember if aus vaccinates rabbits or not.. i heard that in some places you have to vaccinate rabbits for something.. not sure if it was aus or not.
